write and finish your book!

​Friday Afternoon 2:00-5:30 pm
Greetings and Welcome. Arrive for an afternoon meet and greet at our conference location where we you will introduce yourself to your fellow Queen's and we'll take you through the flow of the weekend.

​Pick up your homework assignments, books, and your very own Queen's Tributes. 

Saturday Morning 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Today is about Clarity of Purpose ~ for you, your Queendom and Citizens. We'll dig deep into your Queenly archetype's message, and check that you are fully aligned and writing from your most authentic place of power.

We'll be reviewing, writing, workshopping, and making edits to your book's flow, concept, theme, processes, and systems together. You'll be surprised at what shows up as we channel and write! 

Saturday Afternoon 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Feng Shui (a.k.a. organize the mess) your material. Here's where we look closely at your exhibits, materials, chapters, processes, and discuss any other ideas you are considering adding or removing from your work. At this point we will be looking for cohesion and gaps in your work to ensure you feel your book is on path to what you want your finished work to feel like. By the end of the day wrap up - you should have a collated Book and a plan to write, rewrite, research, create any gaps you need to create, elaborate on or fill. Keep in mind you don't know what you don't know. So this is where we will test the book's overall alignment.

Sunday Morning 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Story Crafting
What are the stories you need to tell, and what stories are right for your book?

Learn the different story-types that you might want to write to support your book's purpose, and unpack exactly how to craft these different stories in a way that matches the tone, theme, energy, and structure of your book.

Sunday Afternoon 1:30 - 6:30 pm
Writing and coaching. Coaching and writing.
We'll be with you the entire day answering questions and clarifying any information from the previous days workshops and supporting you with anything else you need. We'll be meeting with each Author Queen to review your project and give you specific feedback and tools to help you progress once you leave the workshop.

You will leave the weekend with Queen's Crown on your head, Scepter firmly in hand.

Welcome to our Queendom. Tucked away in the mountains of Nevada City, CA a quaint eclectic town perfect to enjoy the sights and smell of autumn and settle into our writing.

Relax outdoors in the morning, at lunch, or when you need a stretch. Perfect to enjoy the crisp autumn air without your mask for a bit. Write inside or outside when we break out in groups or individual sessions.

Need Accommodation?

 There are six private rooms available for our participants who would like to stay on-site. The rate is $130 p/night, p/room. Due to the current situation with the virus and cleaning you must book for at least 3 nights since we cannot get cleaning service in-between days. We will assign rooms as they are rented and all rooms share a bathroom. There are stairs in this home. If you have questions, would like to book a room, or need assistance to find alternative accommodation in the area, or you have other questions just reach out via the contact form below and we'll get right back to you. Don't wait too long to book your room on-site as there are only six available. 
If you are traveling with a friend and are comfortable sharing a room there is one room with 2 Twin beds
for the same price the other 5 rooms are Queen sized beds (the health considerations of sharing a room are strictly the responsibility of the participants, we do not accept any liability for room sharing contact).
